To celebrate Pärnu Day, Pärnu entrepreneurs and friends will gather at Martens Square in the center of Pärnu to hold an early spring festival of flavors in honor of the city and for the joy of city residents and guests. In 2025, the opening event of the first Pärnu Smelt Festival will be held in conjunction with Pärnu Day.​

Within two weeks after the opening event of the Pärnu Smelt Festival, various dining establishments in Pärnu will offer the creations of top chefs made from smelt. Participating restaurants will serve a special smelt-themed menu from April 5 to April 20, 2025. You can find the list of restaurants offering smelt in the schedule.

5.-20. april Smelt in Pärnu restaurants, cafes and pubs

Within two weeks after the opening event of the Pärnu Smelt Festival, various dining establishments in Pärnu will offer the creations of top chefs made from smelt.   • 11:20 – Pärnu JPK Vaprus invites everyone to bounce a ball! (Available throughout the event)

  • 11:30 – I Pärnu Smelt Festival presents: Introduction and tasting by Jannseni Pizza OÜ

  • 11:40 – Uulu Lamba Vest presents: Performance by Uulu Show Group, led by Egle Vutt

  • 11:50 – I Pärnu Smelt Festival presents: Introduction and tasting by Fishing Village
